Mac Performa 475 a.k.a. Quadra 605, LC 475

A Macintosh released with four different names, the Quadra 605 (LC 475, Performa 475 and Performa 476) came packed with performance that would have cost $10,000 years ago! Unbelievably, this Mac cost less than $1000! The Apple Macintosh Performa 475 features a 25 MHz 68LC040 processor, 4 MB of RAM, and a 160 MB hard drive in the legendary compact "pizza box" case.

It shared many components with the previous LC models, although it used a new (equally compact) case. The educational version of the Performa 475 is the LC 475, and the business version is the Quadra 605. The models were bundled with various combinations of a fax/modems, monitors, and hard drives.
