This Apple Macintosh LC II "the pizza box"
has 16 MHz 68030 CPU, 4 MB RAM, 40 MB Harddrive
and a SuperDrive. See the Photos.
Optional you can buy a suitable Apple
Design Keyboard (QWERTY), Mouse and Monocrome
or RGB Display. There are many applications
on the HD (must be deleted later...)
Running a 32-bit CPU on a 16-bit data bus and
limited by design to no more than 10 MB of RAM,
the LC II offered virtual memory and works with
RAM Doubler. One improvement over the LC was 4
MB of onboard memory instead of the 2 MB of the
earlier model. The LC II sold for $1240, making
it one of the more affordable Macs ever. It was
discontinued in March 1993, when it was replaced
by the LC III. In September 1993, it was bundled
with several different hard drives and software,
with a built-in modem, preinstalled sofware and
monitor, it was called the Performa 405, 410,
or 430, depending on the hard-drive size. Download

Macintosh. It is a versatile system that is nice
for education and business uses, from color presentations
to spreadsheets.

Der Mac LC II (LC = LowCost) "die Pizzabox"
wurde 1992 als Nachfolger des LC (1990) herausgegeben.
Der Macintosh LC II hat gegenüber dem ursprünglichen
Modell einen etwas leistungsfähigeren Prozessor
bekommen, einen 68030 mit 16 MHz. Als Seichersockel
dienen weiterhin zwei 30polige SIMMs. Der LC war
für den Heimgebrauch bestimmt und war mit
1240 $ einer der erschwinglichsten Macs überhaupt.
Der LC II hat das legendäre Pizzabox Gehäuse,
das extrem flache Gehäuse wirkt vor allem
unter dem passenden Monitor extrem elegant. Sollten
