Dear Tano,

have a walk to an electrican (TV or Radio)
mostly the can measure the power needed.

Or you try a multi voltage adapter and start with 3 volt
and higher the voltage, on one point the adapter should come to live.
But don¥t start with a higher voltage than 4 to test.

Funny Hardware Hardware - SCSI to EtherNet...
what¥s the result ? Can you add a Harddrive directly to the network ?

Greetings,

Hope you get the Adapter running.

I also have a nice new old item,
never saw it before anywhere:

The Apple External Hard Drive - 850 MB - Model ID M2115
very stylish I think... A real-live honest-to-goodness Apple-branded product!

This thing, like most Apple products, was built like a truck.
Has a secret top front panel for SCSI termination selection.

So, you're ready to go right out of the box.

The drive has a SCSI ID selector hidden at the top front panel.

Question Has anyone some more informations or the ServiceManual (I like to add a bigger HD to it) Question

It looks like it grabs some voltage from the port to power up an external gimmic, maybe you can for instance recharge your mobile phone while your Mac is running.
