Hi,

lazze asked me about reinstalling a system on a powerbook 100.

Can I use the normal System 7 installation disks that came with the
most classic macs or do I need a special version for the powerbook ?

I ask because I remember an Message by the installer "You can¥t
install this system on this Mac, etc..."

Sadly I don¥t have a PB 100 for testing - do you ?

Do you think a normal System 7 disk set will reinstall the system on
the PB 100 ?

Yours,

Oliver

original system on a Powerbook 100 :
system 7.0.1
latest possible system : 7.5.5

the normal disks are fine
more easy way, use the SCSI (HDI-30) and an external SCSI hard disk with system 7 on it

Sadly lazze has only the PB,
but he gets my drive so he can install the new system.

Thank you for the info.
