Solving the Rubik´s Cube 4th fourth
dimension problem.
This 4th dimension cubes are authentic rubik's cube produced
by the original design standard but with a forth
dimension added. you can still solve it by having
all six sides in single colour but for the perfect
solution the four central symbols have now also
to be aligned with each other. this increases
the possible cobinations to the forth power
(43,252,00.,274,489,856,000x 4squared) and makes
the cube even more challenging. This 4th dimension cubes are harder than the original Rubik's
cube because the
centers have symbols on them. Without worrying
the orientation of the centers,
there are C = 4.3 * 10 19 combinations. With
the added constraints,
there are C*44 combinations.
Das "Uhrzeigerproblem" war im April
1981 das Thema eines Preisausschreibens der
Zeitschrift "Bild der Wissenschaft".
Gewinner war Herr Herbert Kociemba aus Darmstadt.
